We recommend it is good practice to have all assessments checked both at Revaluations and on new acquisitions. We are able to provide advice on how to organise facilities and to reduce rating assessments applicable thereto.

We provide our clients with the following service:-

• Carry out desk-top appraisal of Valuation Notice upon receipt.
• Advising Client whether Rateable Value should be formally appealed.
• Lodging formal appeal timeously and giving valid grounds for such an appeal.
• Inspection of the property comprising detailed and measured survey with regard to factors directly affecting the rating assessment.
• Compiling a case for negotiation with the Regional Assessor.
• Meeting with the Assessor to agree facts and exchange evidence pertaining to value.

If necessary, we are also able to prepare a formal Statement of Case for Valuation Appeal Comittee or Lands Tribunal in the event of being unable to reaching agreement with the Assessor by negotiation.
